What third function kit is right for me?
At Summit Hydraulics we sell both machine specific & universal third function kits. The only difference between these two types of kits are the hydraulic hoses and machine specific brackets included in the machine specific kits.

Our third function kit is a universal valve kit designed for use on a wide variety of machines. That said, there are a few things you need to check on to ensure this is the right kit for you. You need to find the following information
- What is the flow you’ll be running through this valve?
A great resource for finding the overall flow of your machine is tractordata.com. From there, you can look up your machine and look at the “pump flow”. If you have less than 15 GPM pump flow, our standard third function kit is perfect. If your flow is over 15 GPM and less than 21 GPM, then we have our Z80 Universal Third Function Kit - What quick couplers do you need included with the third function kit?
Select the quick couplers you'll need to connect this third function kit to your implement. The most common are the 1/2" body AG (Pioneer) Style and the 1/2" body Flat Face Style. If you're unsure, please contact the manufacture of your implement, or view our quick coupler identification guide.
